2010级学生代表姚立婷在2010级毕业典礼上的讲话
Dear professors, honored guests, parents and friends, and of course, all of you, the graduation Class of 2013!Good evening, it is my great honor to represent the graduates and speak on this very special day.
First of all, I must say, congratulations! Congratulation to all the graduates of 2013! We made it to the graduation. We've finally reached the end of a long and challenging journey. We are about to receive a piece of paper that proves to the world thatwe are now fit to join the ranks of the elites.
Life here in PHBS is colorful. The military training, evening parties and outings.I still remember the trip to Xi Chong. the beach barbecue, the laughters and singings besides the campfires are still vivid in my memory.
Life here is full of challenge. Quote from a classmate’s weibo. Three years in PHBS is like playing an RPG game. Stage 1 is about passing Exams. With countless late nights of working on cases, presentations, and preparing examines. Stage 2 is about finding an internship. We did all the dirty works that employees would not do, coping papers, making calls, collecting data, and trying to find ourown career directions. Stage 3 is about finding a job. Most of us went to Beijing. We rented a house, and fileonline applications, run from one place to anotherfor interviews. The efforts we made in the previous stages have paid off, and all of us have found a satisfactoryjob. And finally, the final boss comes, thesis defense! It feels like backto high school again. There is no such word called “fully prepared”. And with luck, we survive at last.
So Today is a day of celebration, a day to celebrate all the hard work that got us to this place. And more importantly, today is a day of thanks.A day to thank all the people that helped us get here, the people who nurtured us, who taught us, who held our hand, who dried our tears.
Thank you our parents, for raising us since born and supportingus all the way up. And sorry that, as we grow up, we spend less and less time with you.But we all love you.
Thank you our professors. Thank you for teaching us knowledge and helping us with our choices. Here I want to thank my advisor, professor Wen Hai. Thank you for illuminating my voyage of life with your own.You are like a third parent of us.
Thank you our friends. You, my classmates are all incredible guys. you always have amazing ideas and thoughts. Maybe tomorrow we will start from here and go to different city.We will become more mature, more sophisticated, and more schooled of the way of world. But our friendship is unchangeble. Life is a journey, when thunderstorm comes, we will always stand by each other.
Asweare heading out into the world,we will keep our eye on the horizon and live in a way that we will be proud of. We will work hard. We'll be a good partner. We'll be a good mom or dad. We'll be a good friend. We'll be a good boss.We are going to make our school be proud of us in the future.
In the end I wish youmy dear classmates, love and light, joy and laughter.Wish you fulfill your dream someday. And best wishes for all our professors and parents.
We love you phbs!
We love you all!
Congralutions again 2013! Thank you very much!
