Class Hours: Please be noted that April 25 (Friday) and May 16 (Friday) will hold grand sessions for all graudating thesis students . My own session is scheduled as below. Please work with your TA to pick your date and a time slot (20 minutes) during your date.

Course Description
翱惫别谤惫颈别飞— this course aims to prepare students to present their theses in an effective and efficient manner, and improve their professionalism for future positions in the business and/or academic fields.
Format— except for the grand sessions, the rest of the class time will be devoted to students’ presentations. Students are expected to not only prepare their own presentations diligently, but also take an active role in providing constructive feedbacks to their fellow students. Each hour will schedule 3 students who will give presentation of their thesis draft for about 15 minutes plus 5-minute comment from the instructor. SCHEDULED students MUST show up.
Requirements, Coursework, and Grading
搁别辩耻颈谤别尘别苍迟蝉— 1) You are expected to have a polished version of your thesis; 2) You have to prepare a PowerPoint slide deck for a 15 minutes presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A. Please submit the electronic version of slide deck to your TA at least 24 hours before the scheduled presentation day; 3) You are expected to attend class regularly, and actively participate in a professional and value-adding manner; 4) You are required to hand in a piece of half-page constructive feedback for each of 4 presentations. Overall, you need to turn in 4 assignments as a minimum, for grading purpose.
Grading— there will be no written or oral exams for this course. The final grade will be determined based on the following three aspects:
Attendance (10%)
Presentation (50%)
Assignments (40%)
The final grade of each student will be in the form of one of the following 4 scores: High Pass (HP, 90 and above), Medium Pass (MP, 80 to 89), Low Pass (70 to 79), and Fail (F, 69 and below).
Course Materials
There is no required textbook for this course, lecture notes, if any, will be prepared by the instructor and could be distributed.
E-mail
We use your emails as our basic communication tool. I expect everyone to check their e-mail at least daily. Frequently, time-sensitive announcement will be distributed via emails. Please be sure that you are on the distribution list.
Academic Integrity
You fail the class if you plagiarize in either your draft or presentation slides. Furthermore, the school discipline committee will be notified by the instructor of any such case. Most likely, penalty could be anywhere between misconduct recording and expel. Read the following link to make sure you fully understand what plagiarism is defined. If you still have question, feel free to stop by my office.
Show courtesy to your classmates and instructor by coming to class on time, turning off your cell phones, and not leaving the classroom during class time.
