William J. Lekse is past President of Black Diamond Company and past President and Acting CEO of Blue Danube Inc. He has worked with profit and non-profit organizations including Asian eCommerce and eastern European heavy manufacturing companies on a variety of assignments. Dr. Lekse has been an officer and/or director of various profit and non-profit organizations and received awards from both private and governmental bodies.
Prior to entering the business community he served as an officer in the US Navy and tested systems on submarines for Electric Boat. While at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Lekse taught all levels of students including Executive MBA’s and executives in foreign countries. His publications and presentations have been in the areas of Corporate Entrepreneurship, eBusiness, Human-Computer Interaction, Knowledge Management, Strategic Management and Technology Management. his major is strategy and entrepreneurship, corporate governance.
